Derby City North Primary Care Network is looking for a motivated, organised, and proactive individual to join our team as a Primary Care Network Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key supporting role in the delivery of high‑quality primary care services across our member practices (Brook Medical Centre, Derwent Medical Centre, Horizon Healthcare, Osmaston Surgery and Wilson Street Surgery).

Working as part of a small, friendly team, you will help coordinate PCN projects, support operational activity, and ensure the smooth running of administrative processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

·       Supporting the coordination and delivery of PCN projects and programmes

·       Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing agendas and minutes

·       Updating the PCN website and social media channels

·       Checking and processing claims to/from Practices, dealing with invoices, spreadsheets, supporting maintenance of accurate accounts and PCN financial matters

·       Managing and updating staff/ SystmOne rotas

·       Providing data and reporting support for PCN initiatives

·       Communicating with practices, partners, commissioners and stakeholders

·       Supporting events, operational activities, and service development

·       Assisting with bids, submissions, and project documentation

What We’re Looking For

Essential

·       Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), Grades 9-4 / A*-C including Maths and English

·       Strong administrative experience and excellent organisational skills

·       Confident IT user, including Microsoft Office

·       Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team

·       Excellent communication skills

·       Ability to handle confidential information appropriately

·       Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

·       An ability to be flexible and adaptable with working hours

·       Full, clean driving licence

Desirable

·       Previous experience working in the NHS or primary care

·       Understanding of systems such as SystmOne and Xero

·       Experience supporting projects or service development

·       Ability to work autonomously when required
