Location: Chatsworth Road Medical Centre, Chesterfield
Sessions: 4-6 sessions per week
Salary: £11,500 per session (dependent on experience)
Contract: Temporary (6 months)
Start Date: 1 October 2026

Job Summary

Chatsworth Road Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and committed temporary Salaried GP to join our friendly, well-established team from 1 October 2026 to cover an unexpected vacancy.

The successful applicant will work 4-6 sessions per week and will join a supportive clinical team consisting of 4 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, Practice Nurses, and a PCN Pharmacy Team. We are looking for a GP who shares our commitment to providing high-quality patient care, values teamwork, and enjoys working within a collaborative practice environment.

Applications are welcomed from both experienced GPs and newly qualified GPs.

Main Duties of the Role

As a Salaried General Practitioner, you will use your professional skills and clinical knowledge to deliver a high standard of patient-centred care within a supportive and collaborative team.  The role includes:

·       Face-to-face and telephone consultations

·       Management of clinical correspondence and results

·       Repeat prescribing

·       Home visits where appropriate

·       Participation in the ongoing development of practice services and patient care
