About the Role

Overdale Medical Practice is delighted to offer an opportunity for a Salaried GP to join our well‑established, friendly and forward‑thinking team. We are a high‑performing, stable Derbyshire practice with a strong reputation for excellent patient care, supportive teamwork and clinician wellbeing.

This post is ideal for a GP looking for a sustainable, enjoyable role within a genuinely supportive environment. Session number is flexible (typically 4–6 sessions per week) and we are open to discussions to meet both practice and individual needs.

Alongside clinical work, there is the opportunity to develop a practice leadership or portfolio role aligned with your interests (for example safeguarding, education, quality improvement or service development). Training, mentorship and protected time are provided.

Person Specification

Essential

• GMC‑registered GP

• On the NHS Performers List

• Commitment to high‑quality, compassionate patient care

• Strong communication and team‑working skills

• Engagement with CPD, appraisal and professional development

Desirable

• Experience in UK general practice

• Specialist clinical interests (e.g. women’s health, MSK, dermatology, minor surgery)

• Interest in leadership, QI or service development
