Job overview
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our friendly practice team at Creswell and Langwith Medical Centre. We are a friendly, supportive team consisting of 4 GPs, 2 ACPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Nurse Associate, and 2 Health Care Assistants who are supported by a network of Physios, Pharmacists, Care Coordinator, and Social Prescriber
The surgery serves approximately 5,467 patients in Creswell, Langwith, and the surrounding areas.
The practice is rated good by the CQC and performs well against QOF and the GP Patient Survey.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a forward-thinking GP who can work with us to ensure that we continue to progress, develop, and work innovatively to meet the needs of our patients.
· You will provide a portfolio of general medical services, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
· Opportunity to take part in leading on key disease areas and assist in developing appropriate healthcare services for a diverse patient list.
· Support the Lead Clinician and practice team to manage a busy and interesting clinical caseload.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, accepting an equal share of the practice workload
Have a flexible approach to working patterns to support the service during times of absence if required
· Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines
· Review and adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times
· Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, promoting and maintaining positive working relationships with the multi-disciplinary team.
· Lead on key areas within the practice, such as specific QOF domains, quality standards, and practice initiatives, as agreed with the Clinical Lead and/or Practice Manager.
· On a rotational basis, support the extended access service, which takes place on a Tuesday, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
***INTERNATIONAL GRADUATES MUST BE ON THE GP SPECIALIST LIST AS WELL AS ON THE GMC REGISTER. ***
