An opportunity has arisen for you to join our friendly practice team at Mickleover Surgery. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, committed person to join our team as part-time clinical coder and administrator. Your work will be vital to ensure that patient records are maintained accurately, and to assist with the smooth running of the day-to-day administration operations. The working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate.

Job Summary

 

The main duties of the role are to provide administrative support to the practice team. The post-holder will be responsible for processing and coding clinical information received in clinical correspondence from secondary care and other parties, summarising and read coding relevant information from patients' clinical records into the practice computer system. Processing recalls, new patient registrations and deducting patients will also be part of the role. The post holder will also provide admin support to the named GP for Safeguarding and Learning Disabilities.
