DDLMC are aware of frustrations practices experience when managing patients requesting support with weight loss. We are particularly aware of the need to clarify the plan for the roll out of access to tirzepatide (Mounjaro) across Derby and Derbyshire, with increasing numbers of patients already asking practices about it. We understand that a service will not be in place by the end of this month and are working hard with the ICB to ensure patient facing comms are available asap to help practices to manage this demand.
