Derby and Derbyshire Local Medical Committee and the General Practice Task Force are based in the office base at Heritage Gate, Norman House, Ground Floor, Friar Gate, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE1 1NU.
The office is open 5-days a week (excluding bank holidays), from 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 09:00 to 16:30 on Friday.

Chief Executive, LMC
Dr Kath Markus takes the LMC lead on representing general practice within Derbyshire, focusing on commissioning negotiations with the CCG and other providers. She also ensures the GP voice is heard within the wider Joined Up Care Derbyshire and as a former GP partner in Chesterfield brings a wealth of experience in supporting GPs in professional and business matters. Her normal working days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Medical Director, GPTF
Dr Susie Bayley heads up the multitude of GPTF projects and together with Claire provides the strategic link to the CCG, NHSE and Health Education England to ensure GPTF remains the provider of choice for support to general practice across Derbyshire. As a former GP Partner in Derby she fully understands the current pressures on general practice and leads on providing projects to relieve these pressures. Her normal working days are Monday and Wednesday.

Director, GPTF Projects and Practice Support
Claire Leggett leads on the management of GPTF projects, ensuring the delivery of high quality to support across the wide range of GPTF activity. She supports all GP practices across Derby and Derbyshire through practice intelligence gathering, information sharing and signposting. She supports business development for practices through the GPTF Change facilitator network, PCNs, external agencies and the wider NHS. Her normal working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Director, Business Support and Contracts
David Gibbs works closely with the network of practice managers to provide support and guidance on all aspects of general practice management. He is the lead on GP Contracts, Regulations and Directions and is the first port of call for queries from practices. He provides a link to the CCG, NHSE, CQC and PCSE for operational matters. His normal working days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Sue Latham is the primary senior management link to the Administration Team and leads on all aspects of the management of the LMC and GPTF to facilitate the support to practices. This includes our HR, Finance, IT, Premises management and Health and Safety. As a former Practice Manager she is well versed in the complexities of the management functions within the NHS. Her normal working days are Monday to Friday (10:00 to 15:00).

Office Manager and Personal Assistant
Andrea How provides administrative and clerical support to the LMC. She works as a Personal Assistant to the LMC Executive and Senior Management Team and administers the LMC and Executive meetings. She also co-ordinates the LMC and GPTF Communications and provides a central point of access to information and resource for the LMC, GPTF and GP practices. Her normal working days are Monday to Friday.
