Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate newly qualified General Practitioner (GP) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is an exciting opportunity for a GP who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Job Title: Newly Qualified General Practitioner (GP)
Location: Derbyshire, United Kingdom
Job Type: 5-6 months starting August 2025 @ 6 sessions per week
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities
· Provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
· Conduct routine health assessments and screenings.
· Manage chronic illnesses and complex medical conditions.
· Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary.
· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
· Participate in practice meetings and contribute to the development of practice policies and procedures.
· Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
· Provide health education and promote healthy lifestyle choices to patients.
Qualifications and Skills
· MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
· Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
· Completion of GP specialty training.
· Strong clinical skills and knowledge of general practice.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
· Empathy and a patient-centred approach to care.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Commitment to continuous professional development.
