Pharmacy Technician
25 hours per week (5 hours per day)
We are looking for a Practice Pharmacy Technician to provide technical services to our GP/Clinical Team, professional advice and direct support. You will liaise with Patients, clinical and non-clincal staff within the Practice team, but also develop MDT work with hospitals, community pharmacies and patients' Carers with the aim of improving the pharmaceutical care of our patients.
- Advise Practice Management and other non-clinical staff concerning administrative aspects of medicines management
- Manage repeat prescribing requests, resolving queries, producing prescriptions for clinical review
- Align prescriptions, review dates, work on discharge summaries, coordinate community team requests, support Care Homes work, coordinate medical devices
- Provide independent information to patients over their medications and prescribing changes and more
