Elmwood Medical Centre is situated in an idyllic rural area of Buxton, Derbyshire on the doorstep of the famous Pavilion gardens, we have an excellent opportunity for a Salaried GP position to join the practice team.
We're looking for a GP, experienced or newly qualified who is passionate about making a positive difference to patient care, provide leadership roles to grow the practice & drive quality initiatives and be an integral part of our practice team and future medical leadership.
The practice has a list size of approximately 7000 patients and would involve collaboratively working within the wider high peak PCN, our care homes and our community services. The practice is not currently a training practice, however as an organisation we will offer development support to the successful GP who is wishing to undertake this role. You will be part of a busy and proactive team working alongside fellow GP’s and clinical colleagues, practice management and wider organisational team including senior clinical and operational management. The practice has a multidisciplinary team to support the GP’s, including ACP’s, Practice Nurse’s, Pharmacist, HCA and ARRS funding roles such as MSK & Mental health practitioners.
The practice is a 30-45 minute commute from Stockport / Tameside / Greater Manchester / Sheffield areas and has free on site car parking.
We are a flexible working organisation and would consider any number of sessions or hours between the core practice opening hours of 8am – 6.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 8am – 8pm on Wednesdays.
