Practice Nurse

Are you a Practice Nurse who wants to enjoy the full range of Practice Nurse duties, such as immunisations, smears, wound management and chronic disease management whilst building good relationship with our diverse patients? If yes, then this could be the role for you! This excellent surgery is seeking a Practice Nurse to come in and enjoy a wide variety of responsibilities, that will keep things very interesting from day to day.

Your Role:

Hours

Option 1. 16-17 hrs a week

Mon 9.00-17.30/18.00 (with 30m ins unpaid break- 8/8.5 hrs)

Fri 9.00-17.30/18.00 (with 30m ins unpaid break- 8/8.5 hrs)

Option 2. 20-20.5 hrs a week

Mon 12.00-18.00 (6 hrs)- OSS

Tue 12.00-18.00 (6 hrs)-COT

Fri 9.00-17.30/18.00 (with 30 mins unpaid break- 8/8.5 hrs)- COT

 

Qualifications Essential:

  • Registered General Nurse
  • Minimum of 3 years’ post qualification nursing experience
  • Qualification in chronic disease management (preferably in diabetes however qualification and experience in respiratory would also be welcome)
