Salaried GP. Belper PCN

We are looking to recruit a committed Salaried GP with an ability to work alongside others in a career defining role. We are a small group of 4 close-knit surgeries in Derbyshire on a mission to deliver leading and innovative approaches to healthcare for our patients. We use a multidisciplinary approach and bring together GPs, Nurses, HCAs, Pharmacists, Paramedics, Mental Health Nurses and our non-clinical team.

Our Salaried GPs will be responsible for seeing patients, working with our multidisciplinary teams and undertaking the normal duties / responsibilities associated with a GP working in Primary Care. This will take place across the four practices within the PCN and offers the opportunity to work alongside their teams. At each site you will be supported by a Clinical Lead and your direct line Manager will be the Clinical Director of the PCN. We have a proven track record of adopting new approaches in community care and have already delivered real change and improvements to patient care.

There is the opportunity to become involved in teaching and training, as all 4 practices are training practices. The Salaried GP will also have the option to work with our innovative Team UP home visiting service.

In respect of location, we are located North of Derby and have a mix of rural and urban areas. The Peak District National Park is located a short drive (or bike ride) away whilst the Cities of Derby, Nottingham and Birmingham are reachable by car, bus or train. We offer free gym membership for one year and a degree of travel support to those looking to move location from outside our local area.
