An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a friendly clinical team in a long-established Practice. We are a friendly, innovative, training Practice scoring highly on QOF and rated good by the CQC. The Practice ethos is to deliver accessible, high standard of patient care. We are looking for a self-motivated ACP that can work autonomously without direct supervision as well as part of a Multidisciplinary team.

You will be consulting with patients using face to face, telephone, online consultation, as well as video consultations. Our practice provides a triage service for all our patients. You will be part of the team delivering urgent treatment/health care to our population.

The position has arisen due to expanding patient population and adjustment of working patterns of our current team. We promote a supportive working environment.

Practice Summary:

  • Located in a purpose built medical centre in Heanor, mid Derbyshire Market Town
  • List size of 9900 patients
  • Very experienced clinical team comprising:  5 GP Partners (4.3 WTE), 1 salaried GP, 4 Practice Nurses (2 prescribers), 1 Paramedic, 1 HCA, PCN Clinical Pharmacists, and allied Community Team including Community Matron, Care Coordinator, Social Prescribers and District Nurses
  • Established Non-clinical team consisting of 7 administrators and 7 Reception team members
  • Enhanced services including comprehensive contraceptive services, minor surgery, and joint injections.
  • Training Practice with GP Registrars, F2 Doctors, and Medical Students from the University of Nottingham.
  • Supportive atmosphere, mentoring available.
  • Aligned to Alfreton, Ripley, Crich & Heanor (ARCH) PCN
  • Rated good by CQC in March 2019.
  • EMIS Web, with support systems including Accurx, MJOG, iGPR, Lexacom, Clarity TeamNet, and Ardens Templates
  • Remote consultations offered where appropriate using Online-Consult, and Accurx
  • Remote working where applicable.
