“In a change to the planned joint injection update, we are presenting an orthopaedic and physiotherapy update afternoon which we hope will appeal to a broader range of GPs. There will still be an opportunity to update your joint injections skills.

The speakers will be

Mr Chandrasenan- consultant orthopaedic surgeon, Chesterfield Royal Hospital

1) hip and knee: common orthopaedic problems and when to refer

2) acute knee injuries: when to worry

3) injections of joints - Hip/Knee/shoulder

 

David Sprot- senior lead physiotherapist, Chesterfield Royal Hospital

4) Common lower limb conditions (foot and ankle, knee) and their ideal referral 

5) Physiotherapy vs ESP management of musculoskeletal conditions
