This is an evening event.

Times: 19:00 - 21:30

As a woman working in any leadership role you may be facing challenges that can sometimes seem overwhelming and unsolvable. Juggling work and life without dropping too many balls, dealing with unrealistic expectations, complex challenges and uncertainty, not to mention the unconscious (or all too often conscious) bias from people we work with.

Sometimes however, the biggest challenge we face as a women in leadership is our own thinking. It’s fair to say that sometimes we can be our own worst enemy – taking on too much, feeling guilty about not being able to be a superwoman and telling ourselves stories which undermine our own confidence and simply aren’t true.

This session will help us look at some of these stories we may be telling ourselves which cause us to feel stressed and anxious, and to behave in ways which we are not proud of. We’ll think about how to recognise what triggers us into our stress zones, and change these stories - examining what’s actually true. We’ll talk about how being vulnerable and sharing our mistakes and concerns can actually increase our impact and influence as leaders, and we’ll discuss about some simple tools and techniques to help us bring our best selves to work, operating from a place of confidence and calm.

This session will be run by Dr Rachel Morris, GP turned Executive and Team Coach and host of the You Are Not A Frog podcast. Rachel will be joined by a panel of amazing guests who will share their experiences, their mistakes and their advice for other women in leadership who want to increase their impact and influence.

During the evening you’ll have time in breakout rooms to chat with other delegates and there will be a panel Q&A discussion.
