Objectives:

• To gain insight and understanding of the veteran community, a potentially vulnerable patient group.
• Understand some of the common physical, mental and psychosocial problems affecting veterans.
• To gain awareness the Military Covenant and what this means in Primary Care.
• Awareness of where and how to sign-post to services for veterans.
• How to become accredited as an RCGP veteran-friendly practice.
