This is a morning event.

Times: 09:30 - 13:00

Sexual violence impacts all communities; with 30% of victims telling someone in an official position (not including victims who told the police) and a 14% increase in the number of sexual offences recorded compared to last year, we aim to:

  • Explore how you can support patients or clients through this difficult time.
  • Build your skills, knowledge and confidence.
  • Improve your professional response and make new contacts to support you in your role.

The session will cover the nature and prevalence of sexual violence, common myths, an overview of the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) process, reporting and referral pathways, safeguarding summary and integrated sexual health service information.

Book your FREE place online here or via www.yoursexualhealthmatters.org.uk/professionals or contact us on 01246 515730. Limited places are available, booking is essential.
