This is an evening event.

Times: 19:00 - 20:30

Speaker: Dr Gail Allsopp

Description:

In September 2020, 67% of members who responded to a RCGP survey said they were looking after patients with symptoms from COVID-19 lasting longer than 12 weeks, many of whom were never admitted to hospital and were never tested for COVID 19.

NICE/SIGN and the RCGP are developing a national guidance that defines this disease as acute COVID-19 (0-4 weeks), ongoing symptomatic COVID-19 (4-12 weeks) and Post COVID-19 syndrome from 12 weeks onwards.

This webinar will look at the patient perspective, discuss the definition, the presentation in primary care and the investigation and treatment pathway we should consider in general practice to ensure these patients are cared for in the best possible way.
