EMAS Communication
In response to recent discussions relating to clinician to clinician contact between EMAS and General Practice, the attached guidance has been agreed .
EMAS. DDLMC and the CCG have worked together to produce and agree the guidance.
It is acknowledged that across Derbyshire due to emerging new models of care and pathways, local arrangements may be in place which may provide specific directions / pathways for EMAS crews in specific communities to liaise with Primary Care Teams.
The attached guidance is a default position to support communication between individual GP practices and EMAS crews, it is not intended to impede any local arrangements.
