We are aware of concerns raised by individuals about the purpose and direction of PCNs. While we think it’s important for practices to not be distracted from the current registration process, we thought it would be useful to provide some information so that anyone who has reservations of this nature can be reassured.
The attached myth-buster briefing has been put together for LMC and GPC members’ reference, should anyone raises concerns about the intention behind PCNs, the decision to establish them and the future direction of PCNs. This is intended to be an ‘internal’ briefing to assist you in dealing with challenging questions of this nature, rather than sharing directly with individuals or practices.
